The 4th international seminar "CRB-Anim: past, present and future" took place on May 30-31, 2022 in Paris. The seminar illustrated the main achievements of the project over the last 10 years, followed by discussions on the perspectives of evolution of CRB-Anim in the next 5 years, as the animal pillar of the national research infrastructure for biological resources, RARe (https://agrobrc-rare.org).

The 3rd International Seminar on CRB-Anim Infrastructure showed the contribution of animal biobanks to research in the genetics and physiology of domestic animals as well as the complexity of ethical and societal issues surrounding biological resources.

CRB Anim International seminar

The international seminar of project CRB-Anim has gathered up to 70 french scientists and some of the sharpest world experts in genetics, genomics and cryo-technologies related topics for domestic animals.

The project kick-off meeting, organized at the INRA center in Paris on November 9, 2012, was an opportunity to discuss existing biological resource centers (particularly in human health) and to highlight the potential impacts of CRB-Anim on the preservation of genetic diversity, animal biotechnology research and the identification of animal models of human diseases.
