Who are we?

The CRB-Anim is a national infrastructure funded by the programme Investissements d'Avenir of the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR).

Launched in 2013, it federates and improves the functioning of the various Biological Resource Centres (BRCs) that collect, store, characterize and distribute biological samples for the reproduction and genomics of domestic animals.
These CRBs, true gene banks, are a major asset for the preservation and management of biodiversity.
The main objective of the CRB-Anim is to promote the scientific and socio-economic development of the preserved samples.
